Who do you guys think will win the U.S. Army's camo improvement program?

I'm putting my bet on ADS's US4CES-A even though i haven't seen crye's submission yet.
The reason why is because the pattern is digital (the US Army can't go back from it's "digital is superior") , it also has that "professional look" to it (The senior members of the US Army cares about that a lot) and it is effective.

One thing I would like to stress to people is that even when the winner is announced. The US Army may not even start transitioning to it because of the U.S. DoD budget cuts.

If crye is going with multicam, it's already in use so implementation is already partly payed for.
US4CES looks like a classic digital camo, but I kinda like the Ghostex pattern.

Which ghostex patterns do you like?

The Bravo series looks quite cool IMO. And Delta looks a bit like my m/11 pattern.

Even if crye goes with multicam.
I still don't believe they will win due to the reasons I listed before and because U.S. Army senior leadership cares about reputation more then costs.
Army reputation > Cost > Effectiveness

Well, I took the challenge to make a urban camo due to its difficulty in making one but i'm kinda stump.
I'm trying to find which colors would be good for a "light" and "heavy" urban camo and also any extra info to help improve the pattern
I tried to find some studies on specifically urban camo but couldn't find any.

Any help would be appreciated!

A heavy urban environment would have plenty of contrast, with little or no organic colors, so greys, black and dark brown.
Light urban would mean suburbs and parks, so greys, black, brown and bit of green.

I've heard that square shapes would be of help in a constructed environment, but I doubt this would hold true, especially in a bombed-out city.

My tips: "dazzle way" because urban fights are fast and fast changing, with vertical and horizontal oriented spots: like most lines in cities, medium sized spots: max hand size, cause short distances. Colours: dark grey, coyote brown, or other beige, and medium green. Use more contrast, for better "dazzle effect".

ADS/Cramer's camo pattern that made it to the finals for the U.S. Army's camo improvement program
has been released!

I'm personally not that impressed with it but I do admit it has that clean and professional look to it.
Comparing it to his Delta version...
Not much different except for the feathering technique.

It's only one of the contenders, so we don't know how this scales against the others, or indeed whether it will even be selected.
Still, it looks professional and unique enough to fit the US military. "Improved MARPAT" as someone said. Different pattern, but same feel.
